Tri Pham

Senior Board Advisor

Tri Pham has over 40 years of career in Finance and Banking across the US, Europe and Asia, and currently serves as a Senior Board Advisor to NextBold Capital.

Previously, Mr. Pham served as Vice Chairman of Bitexco Group, where he led restructuring initiatives, enhanced governance frameworks, and established international capital market access. During his tenure, Bitexco formed strategic global partnerships and executed landmark financing deals, positioning itself among Vietnam’s top international companies.

Before Bitexco, Mr. Pham was Chief Country Officer of Deutsche Bank Vietnam, where he built a strong franchise, navigated the Asian financial crisis, and pioneered the first gender-balanced, all-local management team among foreign banks in Vietnam. Prior to returning to Vietnam, he had a 27-year career with the World Bank and IFC, leading capital markets operations across Europe and Asia, raising billions for development projects, and forming award-winning partnerships with central banks and investors.

Over the past 15 years, Mr. Pham has advised domestic and international companies and funds on market entry, restructuring, and capital market strategies. He serves on boards and advisory committees for a range of institutions, leveraging his expertise to support Vietnam’s growth.
